Active infection, untreated erectile-device needs, a request for a prosthesis, or a donor that will not cover the hair map honestly often splits the plan. Hotel nights are hotel nights after discharge, not a ward stay. Same-day return to the hotel is usual for both sittings. The coordinator stays the same person who wrote back to your first message.

What sits outside the quote

Flights to and from Istanbul are extra unless a contract says otherwise. Extra nights you add yourself, a companion’s room, travel insurance, PRP, beard or eyebrow work, a second hair sitting, a penile implant, extra syringes beyond the volume named, circumcision unless listed, and a later staged operation sit outside this figure unless they are written on the paper. Over-harvesting the donor to chase a packed hairline in the same week as inflating volume until the tissue will not carry it is refused; that is a clinical limit, not an upsell. Theatre, anaesthetic and nights in Istanbul

Plan four nights in the city, sometimes five. That window covers the in-person maps, the two sittings as sequenced on the paper, the first hair wash and a urology check before you fly. Three advertising hotel nights belong to a hair-only outpatient stay and are tight once a second sitting is on the same trip. Leave room for an extra night if the team asks.

The hair session is under local anaesthetic, with or without sedation, and is usually four to eight hours. The thickening sitting is typically much shorter and also under local anaesthetic; “no anaesthetic” is not our medical rule. A general anaesthetic and a ward night are not assumed. The written plan names the order of days so a long FUE list does not sit on the same afternoon as a fresh urology dressing. Discharge is signed by the team — it is not an advertising date.

Recovery after you fly home

The first weeks are dual care: scalp rules (no gym sweat, no tight hat, no scratching) and the modest aftercare written for the urology sitting (no friction, no sport, sexual activity only when the note says so). Sleep as you were shown so grafts are not crushed. Shock loss in weeks two to four is expected on the scalp; transplanted hairs often shed before they grow. New hair is often seen around month three or four; density builds between six and twelve months. Swelling after thickening settles on its own timetable — the hotel-day look is not the final contour. Desk work is often possible after about a week if both teams agree. None of that is a density or size guarantee.

Red flags after you return — spreading redness on the scalp, pus, a temperature that persists, pain that is getting worse, urinary trouble, or breathlessness — mean a local clinician or A&E first, then your coordinator. Take the discharge note with you.
